Dogs:  You came to the right place for daily dog walks!  CPC walks more dogs than almost anyone in Chicago.  In fact, daily dog walks are our specialty.  When you're putting in long days at the office, your dog shouldn't spend all day holding it!  Listen to the experts:

"The single factor that guarantees you a happier nine-to-five dog with fewer problems is exercise... Hiring a walker for the middle of the day is a kindness to your dog."
Good Owners, Great Dogs, pg. 112.  Brian Kilcommons

"All dogs require exercise, fresh air, and the benefits of socializing with new people, other dogs and a variety of environments...  It would be good for your dog if you could arrange for someone to repeat this cycle (water, and a walk) at lunch time."
Good Dog, Bad Dog, pg. 54, 68.  Mordecai Siegal and Matthew Margolis

"To stay health and fit, a dog has to get regular and sufficient exercise... In addition to the walk, a dog has to be let out of the house at least four times a day to relieve itself."
Healthy Dog, Happy Dog.  pg. 110.  Barrons

'...the only exercise many house pets get is a walk to the food bowl.  Yet regular exercise is essential for optimal health.  Sustained, vigorous use of the muscles stimulates all tissues and increases circulation and the movements of fluids throughout the body... tissues become oxygenated, helping to clean the cells of toxins."
Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats, pg. 67.   Richard H. Pitcairn, DVM, Ph.D.

"All dogs need exercise and play, and that is usually provided by a vigorous walk or run."
I Just Got A Puppy, What Do I Do?, pg. 128.  Mordecai Siegal and Matthew Margolis

What services are involved? Chicago Pet Care first comes to your home to setup service for you and your dog.  We have you fill out a short information form that gives us the details we need to properly care for your dog, such as leash location, desired walk time, etc.  We also pick up at least two sets of working keys at this time, although if you live in a multi-unit building where the doorman can distribute keys, that is an alternative as well.  We also collect payment for your first booking, and a small setup fee in advance.

Daily dog walks last approximately 25 minutes.  CPC only walks dogs "on leash", and individually (no gang walking) for the safety of your dog.  If you are training your dog, CPC sitters can attempt to reinforce learned behaviors such as sitting at corners, etc.  Sitters leave a note each visit about your dogs walk.

(NOTE:  CPC does not perform dog vacation care for dog owners who are out of town.)
